About Danella Haro-Aguayo
Hi, my name is Danella, I’m an artist, and I love making and teaching art.
I live in New Jersey, in the northeastern United States, surrounded by the Poconos to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and an incredible amount of amazing trees and greenery in between. And let me tell you, this is the perfect place to get a lot of inspiration.
I grew up in Peru, where I received my BFA from the Art & Design School of Miraflores, as Bachelor in Interior Design (Interior Architecture), and worked actively in my profession for more than 12 years. A couple years after, I got my BS in Education from Ancash University.
Hardships came, and after big changes in my life, I decided to change my focus and career. That is why I always say:
“Interior Designer by choice, Graphic Designer by chance, Web Designer by opportunity, Artist and Children Illustrator by passion.”
A constant exploration.
I have been involved in many different art expressions during my life, but I got hooked when I discovered the beauty and versatility of watercolors, becoming my favorite medium.
The colors in nature and the ones around my world have always been the power and motivation for my art pieces. I loves realism artwork, but I also love finding magic and fantasy in the real world's colors and shades; I believe we can find fascinating and amazing things within our real world's everyday situations, places, people, nature, etc. I know my roots have strong power and create a unique influence and motivation in my art.
